About the Event
The National Women’s Empowerment Ministry will be offering our educational “ Hybrid Summit” this year and will be focussing on mental health.
Our theme for this session is “The Superwomen Syndrome”. The Strong Black Woman/Superwoman role has been highlighted as a phenomenon influencing African American women’s experiences and reports of stress. "We want it all" This summit is designed to help bring women to the center of self care for their physical, mental and emotional selves. The weekend summit and sessions are designed to bring positive awareness to help women understand the concepts and importance of self-care, mental health, wellness, nutrition, physical wellness, and relationships.
Saturday 10AM-1PM - Keynote ,Breakout Sessions, and Panel Discussion
Sunday- 2pm-3pm - Stretch Worship and Massage Therapy ( participants must be vaccinated and wear mask over nose and mouth) Proof of full vaccination is required.
